*NEW* Fun & Fit

Join your friends and start healthy habits! KSRA staff assist participants with discussions of healthy habits and an exercise program to support a healthy lifestyle. At the end of the program, participants compete in a KSRA 5K.

This program is designed to assist with gross motor skills, social skills, use of community resources, leisure education,
social/peer interactions, healthy living goals, and recreation skills.

 

Social Night

This program allows the participating individuals to choose the social activity! While all activities will be done at the facility the options range from movie nights to storytelling. Participants may be dropped off at any time after 6:00 PM but must be picked up by 10:00 PM, making this a perfect program for parents looking for a night out or participants looking for a fun Friday night!

This program is designed to build social skills and self-determination.

 

Cooking Class! **Now available in Sycamore AND Sandwich**

Learn to prepare delicious tasting food with a Registered Dietitian at Hy-Vee—Sycamore in their completely accessible teaching kitchen.

This program is designed to assist with social skills, use of community resources, leisure education, an increase in recreation & life skills, and social/peer interactions.

 

T’NT – Life Skills Program

T'NTYEP

Developed by RAMP and funded through YEP (Youth Engaged in Philanthropy) grant by the DeKalb County Community Foundation, this program is for teens and young adults who are transitioning into greater independence. Program Leader: Mike Franckowiak
This program is designed to assist with social skills, use of community resources, leisure education, an increase in recreation & life skills, and social/peer interactions.
Participation Criteria— (Ages 15 and up): Must have a moderate to high level of ability (no 1:1 staff provided)
