Our Mission

KSRA’s A.R.I.S.E. Adult Day Recreation Program kicked off its Fall Session on Wednesday, September 9, and we are excited to be back for another season of recreation, learning, and connection! A.R.I.S.E. meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and provides opportunities to participate in meaningful recreational activities, develop skills, build friendships, and stay connected with their community. KSRA’s Veteran Golf Lessons kicked off on Friday, September 4, providing local veterans with another season of opportunities to learn, practice, and enjoy the game of golf. Through the support of the Chicago District Golf Association (CDGA), participants receive golf instruction throughout the golf season while enjoying the opportunity to stay active, spend time outdoors, and connect with fellow veterans.

KSRA’s Special Olympics Bowling program is officially underway! On Thursday, September 10, 11 participants joined us for the first session of the fall season. Participants had the opportunity to get back on the lanes, play several games, practice their bowling skills, and enjoy time with friends and fellow athletes.
